Jeffrey Culbert — Civil Marriage Celebrant, TAE Trainer & Assessor, Justice of The Peace.
I am a Justice Of The Peace, and have resided in the Newcastle region for nearly 19 years. My wife and family chose the beautiful Hunter as our home in 1996. With a Hospitality background and over 25 years in as a Cert IV Trainer in Sydney and Newcastle, my path in life has led me to become a Civil Marriage Celebrant.
My aim is to help people from all walks of life, celebrate special occasions – and the different chapters in their lives. My passion is people – and my respect and interest in people led me to this profession. Everyone has a special story that can be incorporated into their ceremony, and for me to help tell that story is truly wonderful. My sincerity, warm personality and reliability will be displayed at all times.
I can offer help and advise you to create the ideal service – in a style that suits you best. I can also advise on locations, music and special ingredients like vows, ring vows, poetry and readings that will be made available to you or you may like to write your own personal vows to each other. I will conduct a rehearsal if required and carry out the service in the location of your dreams.
As a wedding celebrant, (authorized by the Australian Attorney General), I abide by the Celebrant’s Code of Practice – promising a professional and meaningful service that reflects your uniqueness as a couple. I will organize all the paperwork for you so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your special day.
Your ceremony can be anything from an elopement, a romantic ceremony with just two witnesses, or a large traditional service with any of the cultural trimmings you choose. It may be held in a garden, coastal location, or a hall that seats hundreds – large or small, it will be the wedding of your dreams and I will guide you every step of the way with expert, unbiased advice, and ensure all the legalities are taken care of.
My style is professional, relaxed and respectful to make your day unforgettable.
